1. Operator and agreement
DAD/NPG is the business name used by the sole proprietor operating this service. Customer contact: hello@dadnpg.com. No LLC or corporation is represented by this business name.
Effective October 16, 2026. These terms describe the conditions for using DAD/NPG’s services. Before a new Forms Desk checkout, you must separately agree to these terms and the Cancellation & Refund Policy and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. That agreement and its version are recorded. Authorization of monthly charges is obtained through a separate unchecked control. New terms do not retroactively change an existing transaction or remove rights you already have.
2. Your account
The services are intended for adults aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. The public educational pages and direct kit downloads do not require an app account. For saved app records, sign in through ChatGPT using your own account. You are responsible for protecting that account and activity you authorize. Do not share access credentials or try to access another person’s records.
The Record and Forms Desk associate saved content with the signed-in account. You must use the same account to recover your workspace. Contact hello@dadnpg.com about suspected unauthorized access or account problems.
3. What the service provides
The Father’s Documentation Kit, Learn & References, and The Record timeline are currently free. Educational material offers general information and organization suggestions, not individualized clinical or legal assessment. The editorial standards identify the review status of educational content. Professional credentials, a research summary or an external link do not establish facts about your family or imply professional representation or endorsement.
The Record organizes user-entered events into a chronology, links uploaded evidence, retains revisions, and provides export tools. Forms Desk provides a document editor, saved drafts, supported PDF form filling, printing, and links to official California court resources. County coverage is limited to the sources identified in the product; not every form or county has an in-app template.
Official court forms remain free from their issuing courts. Membership pays for software tools and storage features, not ownership of court forms. A prepared editable PDF copy may differ from the current official download; check the source and every completed page.
DAD/NPG is not a law firm, attorney referral service, or court filing service. It does not provide legal advice or representation, choose the right forms or legal remedies for your case, submit documents to a court, or guarantee a result. Using the product does not create an attorney-client relationship or make records legally privileged.
A chronology, revision history, file fingerprint, or uploaded document does not establish authenticity, admissibility, accuracy, or compliance with a court’s rules. You are responsible for accuracy, lawful evidence collection, redaction, deadlines, signatures, and final review. Seek qualified legal help for case-specific questions.
4. Monthly membership and renewal
Forms Desk costs $20 USD per month. At enrollment, you authorize $20 USD immediately and $20 USD every month until you cancel. There is no annual commitment and no free trial. No additional mandatory charge will be added without disclosure before payment and any required consent.
Stripe hosts checkout and manages payment details. Before checkout, a separate unchecked consent box requires authorization of recurring monthly charges. The exact billing disclosure and acceptance time are saved. After Stripe verifies payment, an enrollment confirmation is saved in your account and can be printed or downloaded. These confirmations are historical enrollment records; the checkout page and billing portal show current payment and renewal information. A paid subscription is associated with the account used at checkout; an owner preview is separate from a paid customer membership. New payment-verified enrollments also generate a billing confirmation email. We send cancellation notices when a cancellation is verified and annual renewal reminders while a membership continues; check the portal for the current billing date and status. Email failure does not remove cancellation or refund rights.
Cancel future renewals online at any time through Forms Desk → Manage membership → Cancel subscription and complete the portal confirmation. Future renewal is stopped when cancellation is completed; paid access ordinarily continues until the end of the current paid period shown in Stripe. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for the first-payment refund and billing-error process. If you cannot access the portal, email hello@dadnpg.com from the account email.
If payment fails or a subscription ends, paid editing and creation may stop. Existing drafts remain available to view, export, and delete while your account and the service remain available. The free timeline is separate from the Forms Desk membership.
Any change to an existing customer’s price or renewal terms will be disclosed before it applies, with notice and consent as required by law. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
5. Your content and permitted use
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give DAD/NPG and its service providers permission to host, store, reproduce, display, and process it only as needed to provide the service, fulfill your instructions, support and secure the product, and meet legal obligations as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your content.
Only enter or upload material you are entitled to use. Use the service lawfully. Do not fabricate or alter evidence to mislead anyone, impersonate another person, upload unlawful material, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass others, distribute malware, or interfere with the service.
DAD/NPG retains rights in its software, branding and original educational materials. You may download, complete and use the free kit for your personal records. This does not authorize selling the kit, reposting full DAD/NPG articles as your own, or using DAD/NPG branding to imply endorsement. You may link to the educational pages. Courts and other third parties retain rights in their own materials; their applicable licenses control. You may use and share your own exported records and completed drafts subject to applicable law and third-party rights.
6. Records, exports, and retention
Save work deliberately and keep independent copies of important records and original files. The service is not a substitute for your own backup or a legal evidence custodian. Unsaved browser edits can be lost.
Archiving timeline entries retains their history and attachments. Cancellation of membership is not a deletion request. Use available deletion tools or contact hello@dadnpg.com to request removal of account-associated content. See the Privacy Policy for retention exceptions and provider records.
If the service is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export where practicable, subject to legal and security constraints. No particular uptime, permanent storage period, or court acceptance is guaranteed.
7. Availability, suspension, and legal rights
We may maintain, modify, or temporarily interrupt features and may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, nonpayment, or a legal obligation. We will give notice and an opportunity to retrieve lawful content where practicable. Suspension does not authorize additional charges contrary to the cancellation policy or applicable law.
The tools are provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, DAD/NPG disclaims implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free output. This clause does not exclude warranties, remedies, liabilities, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms do not require arbitration, waive class actions, or restrict non-waivable consumer protections. For a concern about service, billing, or a record, contact hello@dadnpg.com. You remain free to use remedies available under applicable law.
8. Changes, operator transitions, and contact
Material changes to these terms will be communicated through the service or account email as appropriate and required; any required consent will be obtained before applying them. A future move to a different legal entity will be disclosed, with the operator and contact details updated and any required notice or consent.
